The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.
Ex two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
